Field goal not the issue. Clock mgmnt and play calling are

Sep 5, 2016, 10:45 AM

We should have never risked a hand off to Gallman with under 50 seconds to play. Just have Deshaun take the snap and hold it for a few seconds and take a knee. Take a delay of game and let the clock run down under 10 seconds. Run another similar play and at the worst give Auburn one play to go 75 yards or more. Game over! With that offense against our defense Sat nite, they are not going to give us cardiac arrest.

Not the first time Dabo and our coaches have been guilty of poor clock management at the end of a game or even a half and probably won't be the last. Thank goodness we have good enough talent to overcome most coaching gaffes unless it's a team equal to us in talent ie Bama.

Agree that's why Saban is the best. He's a great coach and our staff has ways to go. Thank God they can recruit.

And you don't screw up? Leave the coaching to the staff and quit second guessing. That is why we pay them.
