Fear The Gamecock

I'm already shaking in my bootees. A Gamecock fan says their WR corp is just as good as Clemson's. I will admit they did get one or two good WRs because we were getting WRs higher up on our want list. Also, they now have more SEC types across the board, whatever that implies. I saw a summary of their passing in yesterday's spring game, 28 completions in 61 attempts for a completion percentage of 46%. Granted, that included passes by four QBs, However, I believe the QBs were wearing a yellow jersey and, if so, the completion percentage would have been even lower had they been passing under pressure.

Their defense is gonna struggle but fortunately for them the schedule is as easy as they could hope far besides us and Georgia.

They leave with another humiliating one-sided loss to Clemson.
At the end of the day, Clemson is better coached and has much more talent.

plucking a boiled hen. Joe, I'll remind you that a poor defense can make an offense look like pros.

28 of 61 against a very bad defense is not good.

Their DBs may not be good but they do know how to get a "piggy back" ride into the end zone.

This is just an annual event - Coots talking up their season. I consider this much like the annual arrival of pollen. Something to be tolerated for a short period of time. I posted last week that the SC QBs would have good numbers, and that the Coot fan base wouldn't grasp the difference in toss the ball in the Spring Game vs. Bentley running for his life against Clemson, UGA, or Texas A&M.

Muscrap took one look at their future schedules upon arrival in Usuck and told Tanner to replace the non-conference foes with cupcakes as much as possible. Looking ahead I believe Usuck will lose to Clemson, UF, UGa., Texas A&M and get upset by a lesser team due to looking ahead and a lack of depth, especially on their lines.

That's pretty much how I see it. I agree with the losses you mentioned. I don't see SC going undefeated in the remaining "toss up" games, Kentucky, Mizzou, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Vandy. The level of delusion is at critical mass. Josh Kendall, local beat writer who covers the Coots, said on the radio this morning that he wouldn't be surprised to see 10 regular season wins then a bowl win.

Wasn't Muscoot a Defensive coach? Down right offensive now. Not in a good way either.
