1973 Seminoles were 1-11 and Larry Jones was the coach, they were playing as an independent.

Larry Jones, went O-11. They fired him and hired Darrell Mudra. He went 4-18 in two seasons. They fired him and hired Bobby Bowden.

He started 2-6 then won the last three games of the season. So, that's how long it's been.
