California Democrats in Orange County are demanding that the county’s John Wayne Airport be renamed and all likenesses of Wayne be removed from the airport, over “racist and bigoted statements” made by the American icon decades ago.


I would love to see people’s faces from 2010 if I could go back in times and tell them what was happening in 2020. They would commit me to the crazy house

I remember when he stood behind a podium boasting that he'd "licked the Big C." Um, not so fast, pilgrim. I didn't like his politics but I liked his movies. (Most of 'em anyway, he did make a few duds.) Let the name stay. I wish my Democrat compatriots would use all that energy they're expending on attacking statues on more weighty issues. We've got a lot bigger problems we need to be working on - like health care in the age of Covid.

with all the stuff we should be dealing with now to get sidetracked on things like this is absurd. typical of the pandering jokers in politics. dont do anything meaningful. focus on this stuff which changes nothing meaningful either way.
