Elementary aged daughter has a gymnastics meet on Friday...

at noon. Never had this come up before.

So I’m curious, sonof has always played local soccer and basketball. Do the travel teams ever miss school? It just seems odd to me that they scheduled a gymnastics event in Greenville on a school day. Guessing 100+ girls will be competing at that time. Looking forward to taking an extra day off work so not complaining too much, just seems weird.

for travel soccer. Answer is no, unless it is a scheduled holiday like Memorial Day or Labor Day. I do my best to also make sure families do not have to travel on Friday night.
