I'm with you. Practice #3 and people are full on panic. They've obviously never played football before.

in year one he is named the starter three games too late and then gets injured. In year two he simply has no offensive line thanks to graduation and Battle leaving early. I hope the line isn't so bad that that even Watson can't create offense.

The O-Line won't have to be lights out with all the no huddle quick plays and short passes.
Skill players are gonna be incredible this year.

We don't have to great in the run game. Just the threat of run will make us very difficult to stop. If we do accelerate in the run game then we will put up Oregon like numbers. Just sick possibilities.......

No our OL will not be like the 80s nor will our offense.

Different time and defenses are much more athletic.
Ohio State had a good OL last year - created enough time for big passing plays downfield and very good rushing yardage.
Offensively balanced and diverse play calling creates the best opportunities for the OL to be successful.

In related news, this just in:
USUC's D failed to make any tackles, and the O scored on every play. Spurrier's steps to fix their D have failed and the USUC D will be even worse than last year, if that's possible. SPurrier reportedly threw his visor and clipboard 30 times during practice.

A little bit of both but I wouldn't draw any conclusions yet. Football 101 defense starts out ahead of offense in camps.

obviously we will have a great Oline again soon watching our recruiting. I think we are all just hoping somehow this is the year. I think most of us think we are a year or two away from having a great OL though. I am hoping this year our OL is solid with a few bumps in the road. By the end of the year they will be really good. As far as our Dline though, I think they will be great this year.
