This game highlights what he can do as a receiver out of the backfield. If any NFL team had doubts about that before Saturday, they will no longer have those doubts. I think that probably elevates him to Round 1 in the draft. That is a rare thing for RBs these days. We always knew he was a dynamic runner. But being one dimensional would limit him to second round. No longer is that true. He made millions with that performance. And for an RB in the NFL, that is huge. Few RBs make it to that second contract.

I'm biased as well, but can honestly say that I have zero doubt that we've had the best running back in the country over the past 2-3 years.

and he's clearly not slowing down. You're 100% correct in that it's gonna make him some money.

I do wish we would have him run a few more routes beyond the line of scrimmage, like when he picked up the long 3rd down, but that's just me. I think with all the new linemen and receivers, Elliot is just probing through the plays to see what works. We'll hit Miami with spicier stuff, and hopefully that includes air mailing Etienne the ball more!

I think he set the Clemson all-time record for receiving yards in a game for a RB on Saturday, beating out CJ.
