43 more rushing yards and Travis will be the ACC’s all-time leading rusher with 4,603 career yards.
Scoring a TD today will finally give him the FBS all-time record for games played scoring a TD (42 games). Unless ESPN’s on crack staff does more “research” and uncovers Ulysses Bartholomew Pendergast the IV’s stats from Penn’s 1892-1897 teams. He was an assistant coach/emergency back up QB those last two seasons and I guess his stats should count, too!
The rushing title aside, the biggest thing today is will be Clemson's ability to take pressure off the passing game by getting good rushing yardage on first and second down ,and avoiding those third and long obvious passing downs. Lets hope that 43 yards is more like 143 yards. Would love to see two balanced half's as well.
