Dream Solution for the Tillman and Calhoun issue:

After much thought, I also feel we should rename the Calhoun Honors College. Since the college name offends so many as it was named after John C. Calhoun, I propose we name the honors college after his wife, Floride Calhoun. She was a teacher and a mentor to their daughter, Anna Maria Calhoun who later married Thomas Clemson. In effect, she was the first educator on the property. The college will formally be known as The Floride Calhoun Honors College or Calhoun Honors College for short.

In regards to Tillman Hall, the name of Benjamin Tillman is no longer wanted by some graduated players and professors. I propose we rename the Old Main hall after Henry Tillman who lettered in football in 1902 at Clemson. Again, formally, it will be known as The Henry Tillman Hall or Tillman Hall for short.
All finished all the protestors and the traditionalists are now happy!

Like the idea and though it is very logical plus saves a lot of money on name change etc.. it probably won't work since it is still the Calhoun family.

I guess w her name tooth decay might decline in clemson (yeah I know- spelled differently)

to have for Calhoun Country Club in St. Matthews. It would DEFINITELY not be an acceptable alternate name for the honors college...or Tillman.
