That he’s not playing but they think saying he’s questionable will distract us enough having to gameplan for him (BV with 2 weeks to prepare says hello).
There is almost no incentive for him to play as he can get started on prepping for the combine.

You have to account for Edwards if he’s in the game as he’s their only real offensive weapon. Him playing/not playing would change the game plan. There’s not really any debate there, either.

Of course we need to account for him, just like all receivers. Is the opposite of not accounting for him leaving him open? I don't get what you're saying. Again, it's not like we're going to double cover him or change our gameplan if he's in the game. We will play exactly the same coverages and blitzes whether its him or any other receiver. Again, he's good, but he doesn't require a team to create a gameplan around him. If he's healthy and he plays, he'll likely catch some passes, but its not like he's going to dominate our secondary.

if anything he will dress and try to play some downs but that’s about it. No way he had a scope and will be anywhere near playing condition. Regardless I hope he plays the entire game.

Edwards did not really hurt us last year. Deebo was the bigger threat. When Deebo decided to skip their bowl game, Edwards did not save their worthless carcasses as a weak UVA demolished them 28-0. Edwards is not all that great IMO. Smith poses a bigger threat with the slant routes. Helsinki won't have time to wait on Edwards to get open on deep routes, and he will be pressured and unable to connect on those sideline routes. The BIG HURT is coming, and the chickens had better hide the women and children 'cause they ain't gonna like to watch this.
