Donald Trump Leads the Cancel Culture Charge

Aug 21, 2020, 3:26 PM

Some highlights, which don't include the litany of personal cancel-style attacks against so many of his former employees or staffers.

From 2012:

Said MSNBC journalist Toure' should be forced to resign for calling out Romney on using racist tropes.

Called for Chris Matthews firing from CNBC for election night coverage.

Called for Vanity Fair editor to be fired over objectionable magazine content.

Called for boycott of Glenfiddich whisky for support of local opponent of his golf course expansion in Scotland.

2013:

"Everyone should cancel HBO" over Bill Maher show.

Called for boycott and subscription cancellations for Rolling Stone magazine.

Urged "everybody possible" to cancel subscriptions to the New Yorker magazine.

2014:

Called for firing of Oklahoma newspaper reporter over sports coverage.

Called for boycott of Mexico over the jailing of American on firearms violations.

2015:

Called for forced resignation of Sr. editor at National Review over non-flattering coverage.

Called for boycott of Univision over business decisions.

Called for boycott of Macy's.

Called for firing of Fox News' Charles Krauthammer

Called for banning from TV and fines for National Review editor Chris Lowry for op-ed comments.

Called for firing of CBS news journalist Sopan Deb over story.

2016:

Called on people to boycott all Apple products.

Called on Fox News to fire Karl Rove over "insufficiently positive" coverage of him.

Called on Wall Street Journal to fire its entire editorial board.

Proposes to boycott Megyn Kelly's Fox News show.

Called on supporters to cancel subscriptions to Dallas Morning News and Arizona Republic newspapers.

Since Presidency (Some highlights only - list is too long):

Calls for firing or suspending NFL players.

Suggests pulling NBC's broadcast license (and other networks) for unfavorable coverage.

Calls for boycott of CNN.

Supports Harley Davidson boycott.

Called for people to stop using or subscribing to AT&T over ownership of CNN.

Called for Debra Messing to be fired for comments.

Called for firing of NY Times columnist Paul Krugman (Nobel prize winning economist).

Threatens to shut down social media companies after being fact checked.

Calls for firing of NBC's Chuck Todd.

Generally, when Donald Trump is whining about corruption, election fraud, abuse of power, or cancel culture, it's a smoke screen to cover his own active misdeeds in these very areas. It's very McCarthy-like in its approach, but fairly effective apparently. Ironically, he has also cried "It's McCarthyism!" while utilizing the very McCarthy style approach of spewing out condemnations with no facts to back them up.

So when we all get to complaining about snowflake libtards pushing "cancel culture," look no further than Donald J Trump - the original - the master.

Cancel on, friends. Cancel on.

You're not THAT stupid.

Being a raging hypocrite while being a whining bitch is a bad thing. Exhibit A: Faggot in chief DJT.

That's the point.

It is a shame that he did not get EVERYTHING on that list accomplished and more. Imagine if he had complete authoritarian rule and could do as he pleases.

First, there would be law and order
we would have space ships and flying cars sooner
there would sex robots, trust me
No taxes and no minimum wage, just slavery for those at the bottom (this will not affect me)
black people, gone. You never see them in movies about the future, like really they somewhere get phased out along the way. Trump can get this done.
regulations gone, all of them. especially the clean water act. If you can not afford bottled water, that is your fault.
Boat Parade Fridays
Maga hat requirement for all factory workers.

Don't screw around with my Apple... or my Glenfiddich.***
