Does bad sod favor offense/defense or neither?

Jan 7, 2019, 4:53 PM

Seems like it would be tougher on the defense but I guess receivers and running backs making cuts would be difficult too.

The Tigers should be used to it based on having played in the bad weather/bad field conditions somewhat at the ACC Championship back at the first of December

it would seem to favor the receivers and backs slightly.they know where they're going.the defensive player has to guess and react.in the pitt game there were some missed tackles-maybe from the sloppy conditions, although it was raining, not just new turf.
