Do you like this hyper offensive era of football?

I feel like it reduces the feeling of 3rd downs being big plays because it’s almost assumed it’s going to be converted.

Reminds me of a quote from the great Saban 5-10 years ago- “is this what we want football to be?”

My oh my how things have changed

I don’t have a problem with the offensive era or the style of plays/play calling..it’s fun (even though I consider myself a defense guy anyways).

While I’ve never had a problem with it before, I am, however, beginning to not like the up-tempo style a lot more this season. This snap “the ball as fast as we can and not let the defense get set”....it’s getting old.

I mean, I’m trying to think of another sport where play resumes when the defense isn’t ready?

I guess I’m just sick of watching our guys looking to the sidelines at CBV when the ball is snapped...??
