Didn't care for Biden's speech...

but much respect with how he is handling the reporters that are trying to ramp up the situation.
He's handling it very calmly and zero political rhetoric. If he continues that way, he will get some fans.

People want to frame this as a good-versus-evil thing. I mean, it is, but it isn't going to end with Biden doing the final Boss beatdown in an action movie, twisting off the Donald's orange head Schwarzenegger-style and saying something pithy like: "You're fired, mudderfuckah."
I mean, it would be awesome. And lovely. And I would pay money to watch that movie, in an actual movie theatre. Even now in the pandemic. And order a $30 tub of their most ridiculously overpriced movie popcorn. And enjoy every bite.
But it isn't going to happen, and shouldn't. Because Biden won, ultimately, by not getting into a wrestling match with Trump but instead by letting Trump punch himself in the junk over and over again. You don't out-argue or out-nasty a troll; they live for conflict and the more you lower yourself to their level the more they beat you with experience; that's where they live all the time.
You beat them by demonstrating what they lack - poise, grace, humanity, decency, ignoring them whenever possible, and shrugging off and refusing to engage when they do stuff like trying to plant a laptop full of doctored crap on you at the last second. (You wanna see how not to handle it, look no further than what happened when Liz Warren was silly enough to take the dare Trump dangled in front of her of taking a DNA test. Pure massacre.)
I don't know how much of any of that stuff Biden really has - you know, poise, grace, humanity, and decency - but he fakes it pretty well at least, and people around him do seem to think he's an alright-kinda-guy. It's what he won on, it's what he needs to keep doing...and let Trump be Trump...and ride off into the sunset still punching himself in the junk.

Or even campaign. Apparently our media was completely OK with that and figured he'd work it out, no further questions necessary. I don't think anybody really has any idea what Biden will do, or if he'll even be making any decisions.

but I can only speak from my perspective and my belief of what has caused some of the division.
It's actually nice to see someone practicing, "when they go low, we go high." I am certain the former POTUS would have handled it with complete smugness rather than the humility that Biden just displayed.
Humility is most appreciated when there is no need to be humble.

world-ending situation, but like a parent would just let their child get the tantrum out until they're tired and done. I like that perspective. Just let the President do his thing, meanwhile, I'll keep working. I appreciate his restraint from angry/vengeful language that would just feed the fire.

A lot of people talk about media bias. The media has two biases: laziness (reporting the easy story) and sensationalism (reporting the most outrageous stuff). That's it. Any other claims of bias can be better explained by these two.
