Or did no writer attend Saturday's baseball game? I haven't been able to find either a writeup or a box score in Tigernet, The O & W or the Charlotte Observer

Sadly enough, I went to the NCSU baseball page to see info yesterday afternoon. I guess this site spends so much time talking about looses and firing coaches that two road wins over a top 10 team in baseball doesn't make for a story. Maybe a sweep will be news. On the other hand, if the Tigers loose today, everyone can talk about how Jack just can't win the big one anymore. Sorry for the sour grapes, by I get tired of all the end of the world talk around here.

I don't know if you need a subscription, as I have one - there is a boxscore in the print edition:
RALEIGH, N.C. — Thomas Brittle’s grand slam highlighted a five-run second inning and sparked Clemson to a 7-4 win over No. 8 N.C. State Saturday.
The win clinches the opening Atlantic Coast Conference series of the season for the Tigers, who won Friday 10-5.
Clemson (9-4, 2-0) was outhit 16-6 Saturday afternoon, but five Clemson pitchers worked out of jams as the Wolfpack (11-4, 0-2) stranded 15 base runners. N.C. State left 14 runners on over the first six innings.
Offensively, the Tigers took advantage of nine walks and two hit batters.
Kyle Schnell (1-0) earned his first collegiate win after tossing 22/3 innings of scoreless relief. Matt Campbell worked a hitless, scoreless ninth for his fourth save.
In the second inning, leadoff batter Steven Duggar reached on an error. After Garrett Boulware walked, Jon McGibbon singled to score Duggar. Tyler Krieger walked to load the bases, and Brittle unloaded them with a drive down the right-field line for his first homer of the season.
Clemson will try to complete the sweep of the three-game series today at 1 p.m.
