Dabo said this?

Aug 31, 2014, 7:50 AM

After the loss he said "our season starts tomorrow"
REALLY???
Cant have a redo...this loss counts in the national rankings. I know the conference record is really important but this throws out several key goals.
Seems to me he discounts this loss really easy while reading the board here is was very important to the rest of us.

Yes the loss counts towards our national rankings, so what? Who cares? We lost, get over it. Dabo wants the team to focus on SC State then FSU. Who knows? Maybe we go 11-1. Stay positive

Dabo is correct! Watch the game again and it is obvious that the SEC is going to be protected. Our team played within the rules and kept their heads on straight when it was so evident the game was called for Georgia by the officiating. Vic had no sacks? Being held and chop blocked the entire game makes any running back look like a superstar.
I just can't blame our coaches or team for intangibles like officiating. Anytime a Sec team plays on a neutral or out of conference venue they typically loose. Wonder why?

I feel good about the season and where the team is. I am not looking through orange glasses either.

I hope you understand that was an ACC officiating crew.

@clay1029
The officiating crew last night was a SEC headed by Tom Ritter.

That was coachspeak...something I've heard all my life

Aug 31, 2014, 8:08 AM

from virtually every coach in the nation...and something I don't read anything into other than we have to begin preparing ASAP for the next game.

Are you honestly telling us that had Dabo said...

'Well, this season is over. We'll regroup and try it again next year,' some of us wouldn't have been happy?

Most people predicted a 9-3 season. This was one of the losses.

Despite the score, I believe we will rebound. Dabo is correct. Erase it and go on. We still have eleven games to go.
