Coach says he is thankful there is a game to play. He is as excited about this one as he was his first as a head coach because of all it's taken to get here.

Wake has been very tough to beat at home. At the end of the day have to start somewhere. Wants to see what they need to do to improve. Wake is well-coached, lot of respect for Coach Clawson. They have spent a lot of time together since March. Lot of respect for him

Unique style of play and hard to defend. Lot of respect for QB Sam Hartmann. He is committed and invested in the program. He can beat you with his legs and his arm. He said Wake has a lot of fight.

Coach Swinney says this is a special group. Very strong team. They have had to battle through a lot. Very communicative team he has had. Been forced with the virus to communicate in different ways. They have an appreciation that is very different

On Trevor becoming a national voice, Dabo says the nature of the position puts you in a leadership role. It is something that comes natural to him. He has a bright light to himself, wonderful foundation, strong in his faith, he has matured and grown and communicates well with everyone.

Swinney says they have had a lot of guys who have been leaders, but this time and place has allowed him to become more of a natural leader. "These young people communicate. Everybody knows who he is. It's awesome he has been willing to listen to other people's perspectives."

Bryan Bresee was very prepared when he got here. A lot of natural gifts. He had to learn a complex system. Bresee is pretty unique in that he was ready to go the day he got here. Don't see many that can move like him and have his natural strength.

Swinney says they have a routine that is very important. Guys love the routine. There is also a culture here that he depends on. Swinney said he never created the social media policy, a lot of bad articles written, and this year the players supported allowing social media. They had a meeting of their own last night and addressed what they want their policy to be during game week.

Swinney said he can't wait to see the OL play. Excited about the younger players. Blake Vinson is back. Walker Parks is a guy he wants to see. He knows the least about this group from a game day standpoint

On backup QB, Brandon has said who he wants to run out there if an opp presented itself. They will rep all three guys during fall camp and have all three ready to play. They have to develop depth at that position and they need experience.

On his name being linked to Jax Jaguars job, he said he laughed at it, and had a laugh with Trevor. They had some fun with it but he is getting ready for the Deacons

With students coming back, he has had talks with players about staying safe. He says students have been back, however, lot of off-campus housing at Clemson and Hwy 123 has been crowded for a while. His guys have done a great job. Testing has ramped up big-time, and now testing Sunday-Wed-Fri.

Dabo says he is excited for DW4 and can't wait to see him win a Super Bowl. But he is excited to see ALL of his guys go out and get jobs. Had 100 percent job placement last year and right now over 90 percent this season

Well that's a testimony to the Clemson football program. When 90% can get a job in this 2020 COVID climate, something can be said for the young men and the program that puts them in that position.
