Anybody else think that Wofford played dirty?

Sep 6, 2015, 10:27 PM

I think their team played dirty on both sides of the ball after watching the replay today on DVR. Not only was #2 guilty of shoving Mike Williams into the goalposts, he had several pass interference calls and late hits. A lot of the Wofford defenders also came in late to a pile, essentially spearing a downed Clemson player. Yes, they were called for 4 chop blocks, but had at least a dozen more that went uncalled due to the score. Just wondering if anyone else saw the same.

He was just pushing him out of bounds. No dirty play.

Agreed. Nothing any other DB wouldn't do.***

Coach Ayers is not that type of person

Mike Williams play was just football, nothing dirty about that play

I did notice one of the refs getting in the ears of one of their defenders for getting in late, but I think they were just playing competitive football.

No - Auburn vs. Louisville was nasty.***

you see that power slam by the Auburn DB, dudes were out there to cause the hurt.

Not surprising since most of the players on those two...

teams recently got out of prison.

Wofford is a clean program. I was disappointed. K

I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Game looked clean to me.

I saw a lot of penalties that weren't called against the pup

The TV didn't catch much whining out of our coaches so I don't know if they approved a lopsided called game or not.
