Clemson offense is being baited into shooting

Jan 30, 2021, 2:11 PM

threes early in the game. This team cannot soot a three right now. They have forgot the motion offense that created scoring opportunities early in the season. They are standing flat footed and taking the easy path instead of working their offense.
I have not seen an extra pass to a player cutting to the basket in five games.

Do you think opposing coaches are telling their players to keep their arms down when playing defense at the perimeter?

We had a few good cuts at times today. Moved it better than the last couple weeks but not enough. This team simply doesn't know how to attack the rim. They're coached to play passive and run clock. It's absolutely miserable. Brownell only uses offense to run clock.

Everyone is embarrassed for Brownell and his team Reminds me of Our Bobby Roberts in the 60s playing in the ACC We were the joke of the conference

Trapp is the only player we have who can put the ball on the floor and attack the rim effectively. Everyone else is either too small to get the shot off or too slow to beat anyone off the dribble.

Yep. Just very selfish basketball in general. Nobody passes on offense unless they themselves absolutely no chance at a shot. It’s like watching five random guys at the Rec Center play together for the first time.
