and the DNC appoints Hillary as their candidate?
Is this a "bookmark this post, part 1" post?

Why would the DNC appoint Secretary Clinton?

That makes no sense, and seems kind of random. I think that'd be about the last person they'd nominate.

or any of the rest of those who were running.
Hillary has not ruled out running again, and she has a large base of support. With a down election year (financially), she could probably unseat Trump.

positive about her, from a a Republican or Democrat. I admit I don't talk to many Democrats, so I guess I just didn't she was still popular among them.

I think the probability that Joe won't make it until Nov is pretty high but I do not believe Hillary will be appointed to replace him. I believe Trump has dragged our a few investigations and can expose Hillary for the horrible person she is.
I also believe Dems will struggle 'bigly,' attracting Berniebros. To get them to the polls they are going to need more than Hillary. I believe they are going to need to replace Joe with a much stronger, more popular and just as well known person as Hillary.
I think that's what Hillary is working for but I don't think the Dems are stupid enough to run a loser twice. I also believe the FISA issues, missing server, Steele paper and other related issues would give the DNC pause.
I believe "Hiden Biden," will be their call to arms in the next six months.

How high is a high probability?

Why would he not make it until November? I'd say the probability of him "making it until November" is hopefully close to 100%.

Imo, he has a 60% chance of not being exposed as senile. I say this without malice or joy. My preference is that he goes the distance. Imo, he is a weak opponent and will win the primary only because the DNC circled the wagons to fight off the Berniebros.

"Exposed" as senile? He's in the public and on camera most of his life right now. We already know everything about him.

Hillary will have a real tightrope to walk on border security. The conflict between the moderate dems who support border control and the AOC radicals. The line within the democrat party seem much more defined now than it was in 2016.
Trump's record on border control, taxes reduced, small business start, manufacturing job increases, trade deals renegotiated highlights what middle class people know Hillary would not have done.

chances are his gaffes won't be that big a deal in this particular race. Remember the guy told supporters that Obama was a clean black dude and that's why he was popular.

I don't see it. He's always been loopy. Being combative with the 2nd amendment guy fits the way he's running against Trump, he's the tough guy standing up to the bully and not accepting the bullies lies. The answer about Sanders was a deflection to another topic. That's politics 101.

I think he lies when he doesn't know the answer, or can't think of a better one.
I don't think he's senile, however.

except for the habitual lying and other personality issues, so if Biden/Trump are the only two options, I'd rather have the one that doesn't lie or have the myriad of personality issues that are undesirable in a world leader.

Biden gets the nomination and has a running mate. If he drops out the running mate takes over the nomination and nominates a new VP candidate.
