If KB had taken Dabo's offer to stay on the team, continue to practice, yet not play in games to maintain his redshirt eligibility if that's what he wanted then yes, he should get a ring.

If KB left at the beginning of practice one day and sent Dabo a text saying he was done then the answer is no, if he really wants a ring he needs to buy one himself off ebay that say Lawerence on its side.

Quitters don't get to enjoy the spoils.

It would be a crazy thing to do, but it seems that the whole

world is crazy anymore.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's up to Dabo and company and I'm fine with what...

Jan 25, 2019, 9:16 PM

...they decide. My guess is KB gets a ring. He helped get up to the Natty and if he quit after last year I can't honestly say we would have gotten to the natty.

I would personally feel embarrassed to accept it if I were him.

This is the only kind of ring he deserves to wear.

Bryant did a lot to help Clemson but he willingly walked away. He didn’t get injured or something. He left.

IDC and spend zero time thinking about it as I am statisfied Dabo will make a good decision

Re: Championship Ring or Not?

KB did his part to get us to the Natty and should get a ring. Good thing Dabo isn't as butt hurt as most people on TNET.

I'll ask you this; would you be good with Hunter Renfrow's answer to that question?

Absolutetly not are you kidding

Jan 25, 2019, 10:18 PM

He quit and actually put us in a bad situation as far as depth. Don't bring the you never played argument I was a 4 year NCAA athlete and KB wouldn't be welcomed on my team to receive ring he quit on

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Nope

Jan 25, 2019, 10:30 PM

Took HIS ball and went home. Nice guy I guess but quit on the team. He has no chance to be an NFL qb.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Nope

Jan 25, 2019, 11:22 PM

KB saw in spring practice that he couldn't compete with TL just a matter of time. Quitters don't deserve a natty ring. No one even knows who KB is now that TL helped Clemson win a NC.

Re: Nope

Jan 26, 2019, 11:35 AM

Remember last year's spring game? In real life there are leaders and followers, shakers and bakers, #hitters and quitters. I'll leave it up to you to place him in the proper category.

I completely get what you are saying and feeling!!! It’s so natural...but you are a fan...and think differently than the players and coaches...he will get a ring and he will deserve it Iah!!!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

What would he do with it?

Jan 26, 2019, 8:20 AM

Sell it on ebay? He couldn't wear it anywhere

Re: Championship Ring or Not?

Jan 26, 2019, 8:45 AM

I say the Seniors decide whether to extend an offer of a ring to him. He may not want one, which is fine.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I say NO WAY since he quit the team......

Jan 26, 2019, 8:50 AM

but I do think DS may leave it up to the players to decide.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This should not be a player decision -

Jan 26, 2019, 8:59 AM

the credit or blame for giving a ring should be on the coaches. Why would we want the team"family" to look like they turned against one of their brothers? And I say no ring because in my opinion the ring is not for the season but is for winning the one game that gave us the championship. You can win every game in the ACC regular season and lose in Charlotte and nobody gets a ring - the final game is what earns the championship.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Not if you don't give me one.
