C Wilkins' behavior after his interception/fumble recovery

Dec 3, 2018, 9:35 PM

Did anyone else notice the semi-serious look on Christian Wilkins' face after his run-back of the interception/fumble recovery during Saturday night's game? As he was running back to the sidelines, there was no smile, no celebration, no overt show of emotion that we're used to seeing from him.

I wondered if he was still smarting from the tongue-lashing that CDS gave him following the Heisman pose against u5c. He seemed to be "all business" following his alert defensive move. I know that later in the game he was boisterous and happy and his "regular" self, but in that one instant, when you expect an over-the-top reaction from him, he was strictly business. It was if he was going to make sure that he didn't do something foolish to get on Coach's bad side again.

Just my take on what I thought I saw.

I noticed it too. Thought he might have been gassed from the run...

I think we play better when they are having fun

You can see the chemistry and feel it too

Look at the pictures of him when Dabo got his Gatorade bath.

I think he is over it......

maybe he fell on the ball funny and bruised his liver or

Something. he puked right after it too. Something was wrong with him, he wasn't just scared to celebrate.

Just me, or anyone else see when he put his helmet back on

Dec 3, 2018, 10:04 PM

it looked like it was full of water. I thought he got hurt as well on the play.

I think he fell on the ball and it hurt him. You can see him regurgitate water as he runs out for the point after attempt. Just as he puts his helmet on.

He was certainly a little slower to run in and celebrate the touchdown!

CW was simply pi$$ed at himself for not taking it to the house . . . like a great running back should!!!!

Some of you guys reach for the silliest things. Just plain goofy.
