over to 2nd, then drive him home for the run, Morehead St. Purrfect execution by Cromwell and Greene, who gets his 2nd walk-off at bat for the W of the season (in less than a month)/makeup hit #2 (scored and batted in the winning run) on the night for his error that cost us 2 runs. Thank goodness Wilkie's error did not produce a run after the runner advanced from 1st to 3rd.

It's not so great in other situations. Greater chance of scoring 1 run with a man on 2nd and 1 out, but your expected runs scored in an inning is actually higher with a runner on. 1st and no outs because giving up an out with the sac bunt greatly damages your chances of a "big inning" scoring multiple runs.

Good call in that situation last night though and the kids executed flawlessly.

That and pinch hitting Byrd for Hall was a head scratcher in the moment considering Halls previous at bats in the game. Also getting Hawkins thrown out with Beer coming up.
We couldn’t have had many more problems tonight and we still won. Love it. I just hope Hawkins is at DH with a righty going for Vandy
