I really hope his contract is structured to make him head coach in waiting! Venables is the best defensive mind in the business. He has earned every penny here at Clemson. Like last week Virginia had success on Clemson defense. What does Venables do they watch the tape and fixed it before Miami and shut Miami powerful offense down. Every time it looks like the defense Is young and needs experience to mesh and get better venables is able to correct the defense in a week. Make no mistake I hope Dabo retires at Clemson but should Dabo leave venables deserves to be the head coach he’s earned it.
