The Boating Forum - Selling a boat with fuel in the tank - When you sell a house with oil or propane in the furnace tank, the buyer pays the seller for that fuel at market rate. Same hold for boat sales? With hundreds of dollars potentially on the table, what's the custom with boat sales?

I had one guy make a lowball offer on the house and he said his wife didn't like the color, so he knocked off $5k for repainting the house. I responded to his offer by telling his realtor that it didn't have a pool either, did he want to knock off for the price of that, too?
