You not only have to stop the run and the pass, but you also have to stop the between-the-tackles run, the outside run, the QB run game that Clemson breaks out on special occasions, the screen/sideline passing game, the checkdowns to explosive running backs, the intermediate passing game and the deep ball. Clemson will figure out the most vulnerable aspect of your defense and exploit it, even if it takes a little while."

I know alot of Clemson fans don't like him because his SP+ numbers often underrate our Tigers, but he probably writes the most intelligent pieces of anyone that covers CFB right now.

Also said Ohio State dominated most of the game against us. Guess he didn't watch after the first quarter.

Is that wrong? I don't think so. They were much better for about the first quarter and a half. We were better for the end of the 2nd and the beginning of the 3rd and then it was pretty even the rest of the way.

I dunno, I don't think it's a crazy thing to say, especially within the context he was using to frame it.
