Between this week & next we could be ranked #4 after next weekend

4 of the teams ranked ahead of us are playing top 15 opponents either this weekend or next. Assuming none below us jump us if they win, we could very easily be ranked #4 by next weekend.

Not sure we are a #4 ranked team but that could be a boost of confidence heading into the SCAR game.

First things first though...beat Virginia!

But we haven't played like it for several games.

For some reason, i think we are going to play lights out today.

The ranking will have no effect on our demeanor going into SCar. We better not be scared.

its less about who beats who and more about who could you beat if you had to tomorrow. The reason for the negative comments from announcers about Clemson is not that they dont like Clemson - we get more pub than any team almost never ranked in the top 10 - but because they look at the ranking then consider a hypothethical Clemson, say, Oregon or Ohio State game. They dont match.

Even Morris said we are not running our base offense. If we dont run our qb we cant make a 3rd-and-2. We have injuries and freshmen (sorry, First Year's) all over the secondary. And we are atill 7-1. That is how good we are, and will be. But we are not yet, imo, a playoff team. Could be next year.

if you have to run the qb to get short yardage you're pretty weak up front. period. and we certainly are
