And tell us we’d have a vaccine by Christmas! Fauci shut that down real quick though.

I really care less about Fauci's flip-flopping than I do an administration that provides adequate federal resources and planning to distribute this vaccine successfully on a massive scale and s quickly as possible. 50% of Americans do not even know where or how to get one, which should be the first sign of how mismanaged this entire process has been up to this point.

Maybe Bezos could have offered his distribution expertise

Prior to 1/20?
What direct actions would you promote have been done differently with the vaccines to achieve a significant difference?

I am hardly qualified to answer that, I am sure there is an argument to be made for universal health care here though, and not Jeff Bezos and the private sector controlling ditribution.. Apparently, 1000 different agencies and municipalities all working independently from one another is not an ideal solution to a global pandemic, especially without an integrated healthcare system that could be used to track and assign vaccine appointments scientifically using healthcare records. At least that is how it is being done in those evil socialist countries in Europe.
what we are doing is hilariously stupid.

this is that moment in history, where 40 years of coordinated disinformation and purposeful incompetence intended to undermine trust in our federal government in the name of free markets, is squarely biting us in the as>, and you just proved it for me.
thanks.

We are up to 1.6 million vaccinations a day with a new

Vaccine that’s ridiculously finicky to safely transport to end user sites. That’s phenomenal. At that rate, which will continue to improve as we naturally get better at it, that’s every person who will agree to being vaccinated being completed in under 4 months.
And I’m not being snarky, as I’m trying to do my part to improve the quality of our interactions, but if you aren’t qualified to suggest how it could be done better, how could you be qualified enough to declare it “hilariously stupid”?
I have no problem with distribution to date. Where the biggest ball-drop occurred, IMHO, was with not securing more supply when we had first refusal. Supply issues will hinder us far more than distribution issues will.

Agree on Supply, but my mother and stepfather, both cancer survivors that had tons of radiation therapy in the last few years, had to drive from Florida to North Carolina to get the Vaccine.
Despite owning property in this state, they are considered tourists and our governor sent them packing. I would call that insanely stupid, yes.
well actually not stupid, political.

I guess that makes it true, you saw it on TV. The Truth is Desantis is not going to stick a needle in anyone who is not eligible to vote in this state.

I guess that explains why my parents packed their shi>t up and went back to NC, where they are waiting on their second dose.. Normally they spend the winters down here with me bro, that ain't happening this year. But yeah, Desantis said it is so, that makes it true.
