January most in the media and many fans expected Clemson to be playing in the first day of the ACC tournament today. Thanks to the efforts of the coaches and the players this is not the case. I appreciate that.

There you have it. Over and over again.

Keep expectations depressingly low, then it's easier to claim success. People expected us to be bad, but it turns out we were a little better. Victory.

More like realistic. I have expectations of NCAA tournament next season. I did not this season.

You aren’t allowed to focus on any positives about this season.

Don’t you know that Brad is in year 10 and being happy about anything this year means you have low standards for our program?

Not true at all. Just be honest about it. We had some

outstanding, exciting victories. The win at UNC was huge. Our guys never quit, fought hard all year. All positives, all true. We finished 9th in the ACC, and are now sitting at .500 overall, and here we are on the outside looking in at post-season action. That is all bad, and true too. Let me hear you say that.

Now don’t go asking him to say anything that would put Brad in a negative light.

Lost one starter and managed to lose a first round home NIT game after a sweet 16 year

Lost 1 starter true. I would also count Grantham who started a good bit of that season. Also Mitchell who was a key part of the sweet 16 run was never the same after that due to knees. The biggest loss of the year following the sweet 16 season was most likely Mitchell's being a shell of himself due to injury.

We lost a 2nd round NIT game. We beat Wright State in the first round.
Also, we lost 2 starters in Devoe and Grantham. Hth
