Never meant to live here - first job out of college happened to be here.

I had the good fortune to be able to move to Chapin a few years ago and it is a whole other world. Only go into Columbia when I have to do so.

I grew up in SC and it amazing what other cities like Greenville have done while Columbia declines. There is no vision for Columbia and they have squandered the one natural resource (the rivers) in favor of pet projects for their various city councilmen. The result is several disjointed social areas and a plaque of crime and downright ugliness.

town 20 to 25 yrs. ago. It has really gone down hill and is not safe, I no
longer go there and will absolutely not spend a penny in Richland County because of the sales tax
