Anyone know this gentleman?

If you do . . . Please congratulate him for his catch in the bottom of the ninth!!!

Anyone that has been a catcher understands the inward arc a foul behind the plate has . . . He was sitting a few rows behind the net and as the pitch was fouled in his direction, he simply turned to his left and caught it with the softest hands imaginable . . . Most catchers would have looked more unsure than he did!!!

Tip of the cap to this Tiger!!! Made his gal happy too!!!

Any night at the ballpark is wonderful . . . I imagine tonight was especially so . . .

Those who live near enough to attend often are blessed more than they know . . . Enjoy these nights often!!!

If people were as good as their obituary - and products were as good as advertised - this would truly be a wonderful world !!

It was my father's passion to retire near Tigertown . . .

Mar 12, 2020, 12:23 AM

He and the love of his life actually bought a small home, sold their home in Sumter and were loaded to move to the Anderson area . . . But sadly, custody issues with her children scrambled their plans and his dream was never realized.

They remained close to her children and shortly thereafter gained custody of all three. He loved and raised them like his own. They are a dear part of my life to this day . . . but I always knew how much he wanted to be close to the University that gave him so much pleasure.

I'm pulling for you to find your way "home" HopefulTiger!!!!!!!
