S&P.

All are down from their highs (several weeks ago), and these are the percentages they have dropped as of today:

Dow - 34.90%
S&P - 31.77
Nasdaq - 31.12

Of course, these change all day long. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but a Bear Market happens when the markets drop 20% from their highs, and a Recession happens when the markets drop 40%. Again - fell free to correct me on these numbers or definitions.

some time. A recession is defined by 2 quarters of negative GDP growth (contraction). The stock market is only one indicator for economic growth, it's not the economy.

When there is blood in the streets it’s time to buy.

This psychological Virus is doing more damage to the US economy than the terrorist did on 9/11. Hopefully the fear will end soon and everything will return to normal, if not we could be scaring ourselves into a depression.

Be careful. If you use a 50 year chart, we could drop

On “technical” basis a lot further. This to me is far worse than 2008. Conversely, since Im so fearful, it probably is time to buy some stock
