read an article about Chase transfer process and the support of the coaching staff... his struck me,
"Brice texted Swinney the night after Clemson’s national championship loss to LSU. Swinney was sick, so the two arranged a call the next day. That’s when Brice told Swinney he planned to enter the transfer portal."
Anyone else aware Dabo may have been a bit under the weather during the game as well?

They caught lightning in a bottle with a transfer quarterback and amazing coaching. Nine juniors, Burrow, four of five off the O-line, their TE, the vast majority of their receiving production, their RB, both MLBs, half their secondary, their passing game coordinator (the reason Burrow made such a leap from last year) and their DC.
Kudos to them for winning this year. They deserved it, Burrow was unstoppable, it was a home game, all the pieces fell into place. But the window is now CLOSED. We're a sure-in for the playoffs as usual whereas they're gonna return to another 12 years of being really good but not good enough.

I told my wife that CDS looked tired the days before the game. His job doesn't allow for him to be off sick.

I had heard he was recovering from the flu. Dabo missed the coach of the year banquet a few days before the natty for the same reason.

showed an unusual sweat pattern on the front & temple area which indicated he had sweated profusely during the game..thus he may have been sick b/4 the game.
