Great comment by Baseball America writer on SC. "You don't have to be prospect heavy to have a great recruiting class"...hmmm Jack, are you listening? Signing top propects that get drafted out of HS doesn't help your team!

Pretty flawed logic in that reranking

A number of those teams still had very average recruiting classes for 2008, but they backfilled in other areas with new recruits and/or transfers to make the team. Its almost impossible to retro-rank in any sport other than football. In other sports there is too much turnover and 1 person can make a huge impact.

BA should just stick with the signed ranking and then the re-rank that accounts for those that left for the pros. But at least its some baseball talk 4 months in advance.
