Backup QB question........

this may have been addressed and I missed it but has anyone said why HJ got the backup snaps instead of Cooper? Cooper's body language in the on field huddle during the TO seemed to indicate that he wasn't thrilled with that decision.

Streeter asked Dabo if Hunter Johnson could go in when he decided to go to the backup.
I’ve noticed Coopers demeanor for a while. Seems like he zones out a lot when they show him and his head is somewhere else. May just be how he is but it does appear that Hunter is engaged at all times no matter if he’s playing or not

It's interesting that you mention that since didn't Dabo say ZC is always dialed in at practice and basically won the #2 spot (up until likely this point) because of the way he practices?? Unless I misread that....
For the record, I 100% agree with your observations since I noticed the same thing.

I believe the coaches are trying to give PT to both players in an effort to develop depth. Unfortunately this may lead to both being unhappy instead of just one unhappy QB

There are several good QBs on the roster and TL is coming in. So if one of them is unhappy, then they should have worked harder to win the job.
