My Michigan State Spartan buddy posted this today:
I bleed Green, but Dabo and Clemson are the gold standard in college sports of what you want your team to be. He talks about raising husbands & fathers before he ever talks about winning games, the kids don't get in trouble, the coaches don't tweet at each other, and as a bonus they win a lot of games. There is a cancer of greed in a lot of schools right now, the big ten included, where winning (and retaining really cushy jobs) at all costs is the standard. I'll say the 3 schools I'm most familiar with - MSU, Michigan, and Ohio State could all do themselves some good to take notes on what's happening in Death Valley, because even though college sports is a broken dinosaur, they get it right in Clemson.
