As the worm turns

Dec 12, 2020, 11:57 AM

Sidney Powell of 'voter fraud' fame has filed in court on 4 occasions that internet traffic proved that China, Iran and Venzuala manipulated the machines. She claimed in all 4 cases that the proof came from a witness she referred to as "Spyder" in order to protect his identity, and that he was a Military Intelligence Expert.

Turns out that Spyder is Joshua Merritt, a 43-year-old IT guy. WAPO spoke to him and got a copy of his discharge papers. He was a "Wheeled Vehicle mechanic" during his 10 yrs in the Army. He tried to take a class in Intelligence but washed out.

“Anyone asserting that a U.S. election was ‘rigged’ is making an extraordinary claim, one that must be supported by persuasive and verifiable evidence... To our collective knowledge, no credible evidence has been put forth that supports a conclusion that the 2020 election outcome in any state has been altered through technical compromise,” the experts wrote.

One of the signatories of the letter included Halderman."

Besides the obvious contradiction of the article's title, intro and source with its main premise and conclusion, I'm still not sure how this would prove any networked attempt to distort the results.

Certainly, you can install malicious code on ANY Unix or Unix-like system. If it's not connected to a public network, I'm not sure how that matters.

Not surprising at all. 1988 will still believe Donald won though.
