Pitt, Virginia and VT all have a chance at 9-3 (not all of them at once as they play each other)

VT with a 1 pt loss to ND, Pitt a 1 score loss to top 10 ND, and Miami with a 1 score loss in all 4 of their losses but included is a 1 score loss to UF the mighty SEC east UF.

Miami has really come alive recently and although they had some rough patches early they've looked solid on both sides of the ball in the last 2 games.

the ACC deficiencies but teams like Notre Dame and Florida sure don't seem to get punished in the polls for narrow wins against those teams. Penn State sure didn't get punished for its narrow victory over Pitt.

Is Oklahoma going to be moved down the rankings for a narrow one-point win at home against a 5-3 Iowa State team. OU was a 14 point favorite in that game.

Clemson, on the other hand, is still being vilified after a one point road win at UNC.

Maybe it's just me, but there certainly seems to be a double standard among the poll voters. They're a lot like the NCAA. They selectively pick and choose who to punish and how severely.

It's all about money. Clemson football is boring television as we blow the britches off everyone and only Clemson fans are left watching the TV.

Exactly why I posted this. They don't validate ACC wins because they just scream they're in the ACC, but by the record the ACC is about the most competitive league top to bottom right now within itself. Last year sending the most bowl teams as well. If the SEC all went 6-6 they'd scream it's because they're super competitive and the grind makes it hard to win week in and week out. 4 of the top 21 defenses and 4 top 30 offenses and 5 top 20 team sack leaders come out of the ACC right now
