Art Craig Passes Away

Art Craig , a great defensive player on the ACC championship teams of the late '60s, has passed away. Clemson didn't get much national attention in those days but I remember a SI article about a game with either Georgia or Alabama that featured a picture of Art. He was a true gentleman and a credit to the game and to Clemson.

was a true gentleman when I was around him. Most don't know that he was the inventor and patent holder for the car flag. Still remember him talking about driving up and down I-85 testing flag materials until he found one that would hold up. RIP

I recall his days at DB in the mid to late 60's. He could unload like being hit by a Mack truck.
