I've been thinking that COVID-19 could really affect more

than just attendance to the football games. Depending on how often the players will be tested, it is possible (more like probable) that a lot of asymptomatic athletes are going to test positive throughout the football season. I'm assuming that once an athlete tests positive they will have to be quarantined for a minimum of 14 days and could miss two or three games due to a positive test (even if asymptomatic).

If that is the case I could see a scenario where some teams could be devastated if a bunch of starters test positive. This could very well play havoc into who wins games based on who's available and could seriously affect the CFP this year.

Depth and having cross position training could become more of a factor this year than most...

Are plans for a shorter season still played over the

regular season length? Could jsut have a game every 2 weeks to help with any issue like that

Exactly. There could be some unusual lineups at times.

Maybe Trevor, DJU, and Taisun should never be in the same room at the same time. Only partially joking, but imagine if one of them tested positive.
