Appreciation for the opposition. Why it's ok DW4 didn't win

I know that very few of you know who I am. But I've been reading and listening to what most of you are saying on these boards. Some of you get it, but there's a lot of you that are very vocal that need to have an attitude adjustment.

Clemson and DW4 did not win tonight. Forget the SEC, forget Alabama. The Heisman is awarded to an individual, not a team. For any of you to hopeful, excited about the possibility that DW4 from Clemson has a chance to win -- Only to turn around and say that the award is irrelevant, or get all mad/upset and start retaliating against the award.

You sound sound like a bunch of quitters. That are bitter because you didn't win. That's not us. That's class-less. That's not Clemson.

You need to have a healthy, deep, honest appreciation of our opposition. A lot of you often lose site of the fact that they are people underneath the other teams colors. A lot of you need to take a few steps back and understand that if it weren't for the strength of our opposition raising the competitive level of the game, that Clemson wouldn't nearly be as powerful as a team as it is today.

If anything, you should be thanking them for the motivation that they are giving us into becoming more powerful than we ever would have been if it weren't for their success.
