I understand Republican politicians trying to straddle the fence because they need some of the votes of these Trumpsters to geected, t re-elected, but at some point (TODAY) they have got to say enough is enough and side with democracy. A sitting President cannot be allowed to threaten a state official with legal charges if he does not subvert the legal electoral process that has taken place in that state. The rule of law is far more important than any one man - or an entire political party.
The votes in the House and Senate about the EC are going to highlight many Repugs that would rather defend Trump than democracy. If Americans do not punish them for their unpatriotic disloyalty to our country in the next election - then they are going to get autocratic oligarchy that they deserve.

Politics isn't a team sport - it's about policy.
The president just called the GA Secretary of State, rambled uninterrupted about election fraud conspiracy theories, then asked him to overturn the results of the election.
The secretary told the president multiple times his data is wrong, and there is no evidence of fraud found by his department.
No big deal. Just a normal phone call in the Trump administration.
