Just found the article interesting. Never really knew the national deal, but I can sure confirm what was in the article is accurate at least locally. Timber sent me, my father, and his father to Clemson. Might not send our sons though at this rate. My dad almost majored in forestry at Clemson.

Just a shame that prices are so high, and demand is so high, and supply from mills is so low, with so much of a timber surplus. Something needed to be done years ago about this really. My cousin would talk your ear off about it, and our forester.
