But for real, if that works for a little while, it certainly would be an option for Greenr who has ONLY ever used the speakers built into TVs.

I used the optical cable (included) so it gets the signal pretty dang quick.

It pushed the sound through the entire house which my TV does not.
I’ll report back after I watch a shootem up blowem up movie.

Only thing I don’t like, you can’t control the volume with the TV remote. I’d just gotten down to one.

remote EVERY SINGLE DAY just minutes after I find it for them. I rely on the Roku app on my phone most of the time.

In fact, we found an old Roku remote this week, been missing for 6 months to the point where we bought a replacement one.
