And rightfully so of Keith Adams and others I remember another great player in my youth. In the early 70’s , I was maybe 8 years of age and remember “Peanut Martin on the tackle,” being mentioned across the loud speaker! Seemed like every 2nd or 3rd defensive play. He was a good one playing in some tough times.

as I recall. Also first guy I saw at Clemson wearing the number 1.

I was in school with Peanut and we worked at J. P. Stevens during one summer. Talked with him around school and times like that. He was a pretty basic guy.
