And honestly, the best response form the government is to let everyone below the federal government do whatever needs to be done and assist however possible. Not try and manage it from Washington, but free everyone else to manage it everywhere else. Maybe toss money or resources around as needed, but basically let the people who fund the government handle this. We will likely need quarantines of cities/counties or even states depending on how things progress. IF it spreads widely, then Washington can do what Italy has done and make it nationwide. But basically let local governments handle as much of it as possible, and free companies to do what they can to help.

it was refreshing to hear the Governor of California speak frankly though.

I am sure he is getting an ear full from the left.

I would not be surprised if he were to "clarify his statements" or have someone else in the state admin come out and criticize the Feds soon.

distributed. It seems they all went to public health departments. These must be distributed to doctors and hospitals so we can get accurate numbers of the population which has this virus and develop real stats for the US instead of continuing to speculate on the mortality rate.

Imo, that is the only way to calm fears though I admit, people freaking out and being super careful is a positive reaction.

When real numbers are returned the market will be moving according to actual issues rather than wild speculations.

government is always slow, individuals should prepare for themselves and family, it doesnt cost that much, store some barter items too

Imodium and aspirin would be good barter items lol
