Not recent history . Even after the loss to Syracuse ...we are seen as an elite program , and with 5 wins over top 25 teams and winning our conference a 3rd straight year Clemson will not be left out .

I agree that we shouldn't be left out but it's ND. Plenty of shady stuff could go down in a situation like that.

Nah, no longer a blue blood. You losing at Syracuse proved that. Cu will lose another and all this will be a moot point.

Who says UGA holds weight? Exactly what have they done up to this point in the season besides a 1 point win over a good ND team. Let’s see how ND fares the rest of their schedule - I see a couple more losses there. I’m not buying either though.

We were No 6 in W-L SOS and will have to beat 2 other teams in that Top 10 (NC St and Miami) to be considered, so we will be in!

Do they still look at quality of loss? Their loss to UGA much better than the Cuse. Playing in a,championship game would help us while they sit idle. If it costs us it on us though! !

But no conf championship game. If that cost the Big 12 it should cost ND. Or the power 5 need to call BS and boycott. The day of the independent teams is OVER!

Not sure if they even have to split the proceeds from the playoff appearance. If not if I were the ACC I would kick them out of the league.
I thought it was a stupid deal anyway. I could give to ###### about ND being in the conference sort of.

That's apparently only a thing when the committee wants to justify a decision. Oklahoma got in a couple years ago and 0-31hio St got in last year even though they didn't win their conference and lost to the conference champ.

It wouldn’t come down to Clemson vs ND. SEC, ACC, and BIG10 champs are all getting in with 1 loss or less.
If TCU goes undefeated they’ll get in, otherwise ND gets in over a 1 loss Big 12 champ.
PAC 12 is getting left out this year.
