A big play in the FSU game

Oct 30, 2016, 3:25 PM

That isn't talked about is the dropped pass by the great Mr. Cook in the closing minutes that would have given FSU a first down in the red zone. As great as he played that catch would probably have won or tied the game for the semi holes.

Yep.. good call. Isn't it funny how NC St won the game

except missed the FG and we get rocked for that in the media but nobody talks about these types of huge misses?

My mistake

I thought it was in the last drive. I'll watch the replay. When is it on?

It wasn't a big play because it didn't happen. Cook dropped the ball.

I don't know why Jimbo wasn't crying about that, it probably

Oct 30, 2016, 3:29 PM

cost them the game

Didn't FSU score a touchdown on that drive

Oct 30, 2016, 3:30 PM

Anyway?

Yes that was a big play. However I think the biggest play of the night was the gorgeous pass Deshaun threw to Deon on third down from deep in our own territory. Went right past the cornerbacks ear (the corner that already had an interception) and picked up about 20-25 yards to sustain the drive.

Good call... that was an incredible throw and catch. Reminded me of Nuk's catch against LSU, the way the ball just barely missed hitting the safety.

You know, before that play, I was seeing a look in Watson's eyes that I've never seen before... a look of "resignation." He was really down on himself, and I thought, not now... don't lose your confidence in yourself now... if you do, we're done. That really seemed to pick him up.

I thought the play of the game was the 3rd down conversion to start the fourth quarter. If we give the Semenholes he ball back there, we lose. That drive to start the fourth quarter was yuge. Got Watson back into it. I think he converted three 3rd down passes on that drive.

They scored a few plays later. FB ran left and then

Oct 30, 2016, 3:39 PM

Cook scored again.
