8 fumbles

I didn’t see any discussion on this over the weekend, but how about those 8 fumbles by the bees? I don’t remember a game where I ever saw 8 fumbles, much less all of them by 1 team. Our D was wreaking havoc in the back field, which caused most of them. What’s even more amazing is that the bees managed to recover 7 of them. Just think how bad things could have gotten for them if we had recovered a couple more of those.

Anyway, I have a co-worker who went to GT, and I just say “eight” when I pass him by now…all he does in response is just shakes his head.

To your point.... UGA at CU, 1981 They had 9 turnovers,,, 5 fumbles, 4 picks
