8 Leadership Skills I Learned from Dabo Swinney

So, I'm sure we all can agree that Dabo Swinney is THE best coach in college football.

The Kelly Bryant situation was a tough one for sure. Like many of you, I read Dabo's statement after Kelly said he would transfer and I was so proud of how our coach responded.

Dabo consistently displays authentic servant leadership in difficult situations. If you could bottle up his leadership skills and sell it, well, as they say, you'd be a rich man!

I admired his comments so much, that I decided to write down a few leadership takeaways from his statement.

My buddies at work liked it so much that they asked me to share.

I read the article and it's spot on. Very well done! This can be applied to any relationship and how we interact with others. The world could use more leaders like Dabo.

Excellent! I too watch Coach Swinney and take leadership lessons from him all the time. Things like:

- Best is the Standards
- It's not about what happens to you but how you react that matters
- The only disability in life is a bad attitude
- Bring your own guts
- We serve the players hearts not their talents

... I could go on and on. The man is amazing. He not only has an amazing approach to life, he also has a way to communicate his convictions that is easy for others to understand.
